What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you load a site. They can remember preferences, keep sessions secure, or help operators understand how pages perform. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, scripts that store identifiers, and browser storage APIs such as local storage when used to remember consent.
We distinguish between strictly necessary tools that support essential functionality and optional tools that you can decline without losing core access to the site.
How consent works on this site
When you first visit, you see a banner with Accept All, Reject, and Cookie Settings. Your choice is stored in local storage under the key tdde_cookie_consent_v1 and includes timestamps for analytics and marketing permissions. Strictly necessary cookies or storage entries may be set without consent where they are essential for the service to function.
You can change optional categories by opening Cookie Settings from the banner when it appears, or by clearing site data in your browser and revisiting the site. We may also prompt you again if we make substantive changes to how cookies are used.
Categories in detail
Strictly necessary
These support security, load balancing, consent storage, and accessibility. They cannot be switched off in our interface without breaking core features such as form submission or preference recall.
Analytics
Optional. Helps us understand aggregate traffic, navigation paths, and performance. Where available, we configure reduced data retention and IP anonymization-style settings offered by the provider.
Marketing
Optional. May support measurement of campaigns or delivery of relevant content through approved partners. If you consent, advertising platforms such as Google may set identifiers to measure performance and to respect ad preferences; their policies apply separately. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
Session and persistent
Some cookies expire when you close the browser; others persist until you delete them or until the expiry period described in our privacy materials, whichever comes first.
Third-party tools
When optional analytics or marketing tools are enabled, those providers may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We select providers that offer reasonable privacy controls and documentation. We do not allow third parties to use these tools for cross-site tracking beyond what you have consented to.
Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how the site works. Instructions vary by browser vendor; refer to their help documentation for the latest steps.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing related to cookie data, and to withdraw consent for non-essential cookies. See the Privacy Policy for how to contact us and for supervisory authority information.
